TRANSLITERATION: “Laa ‘ilaaha ‘illallaahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa ‘alaa kulli shay’in Qadeer.”

The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said, in Hadith:
Anyone who declares in the morning, “There is no god but Allah alone, Who has no partner; to him belong the dominions; to him honor is due, and he is omnipotent,” will receive a compensation equal to that for freeing an enslaved person from among Isma’il’s lineage.
He will advance ten degrees, add ten good deeds to his record, and subtract ten evil deeds from it.
He will also be protected from the Devil until dusk. He will receive a comparable reward until morning if he speaks them in the evening.

According to Anas ibn Malik,
In the words of the Prophet (pbuh), “You are led, defended, and protected” will be said to a man when he leaves his home and declares, “In the name of Allah, I trust in Allah; there is no might or power save in Allah.”
